Thai cuisine is an absolute favorite. It’s super rich and flavorful. When I visited Thailand, I took a Thai culinary cooking class at Devasom Resort in Hua Hin. I love good food, and learning new recipes is always an exciting experience. I’d eaten at several Thai restaurants outside of Thailand and the cuisine quickly became a favourite, so I was eager to learn how to achieve that perfect harmony of tastes and textures in Thai dishes. I booked the class for 1500 Baht – just £34!
Guided by Executive Chef, Moo, we made a two-course meal with famous Thai recipes: Yam Tha Lay (Spicy Seafood Salad with Thai Citrus Dressing) as a starter, Kaeng Khaio Wan Gai (Thai Green Chicken Curry), Neur Pad Num Mun Hoy (Beef Stir-fry with Vegetables in Oyster Sauce) and Tom Kha Gai (Thai Coconut Chicken Soup), which were all served with rice for main dish.
Thai food recipes are easy, healthy and plate so beautifully. I loved that greens are cooked for only a short time to keep the nutrients and rich flavor intact. It took only two hours to prepare all of the amazing dishes.
Special thanks goes to Executive Chef, Moo, who took me through the exciting gastronomic journey.
